Social gathering or private functions include wedding ceremonies, birthday parties or smaller social gatherings. Generally these functions have a specified guest list , are not open to the public and don’t exceed 100 people.

If your gathering is just a handful of friends and you don’t require any infrastructure larger than a 3 metre by 3 metre marquee, have no entertainment or amusement activities in association with your gathering, then you do not need to book a park
It is suggested that a booking is made for any wedding ceremony. Ceremonies can not exceed 100 people and bookings are made in 2 hour blocks.

Infrastructure for private functions and social events is limited to a 3 metre x 3 metre marquee (no pegs). Entertainment activities such as inflatable amusements, animal farms and pony rides will be assessed on an individual basis. The operator must have adequate public liability insurance and a copy of the certificate is to be provided to Council when submitting application.

Note: A bond may be required, dependant on activities, infrastructure and vehicle access.
