Broadwater Parklands offers a wide variety of recreational options including picnics and barbecues, strolling on the rooftop terrace to take in the spectacular views of Surfers Paradise, fishing off the pier, swimming, and lunchtime sports on the Great Lawn.
There are fabulous features to keep the kids entertained, including The Rockpools water playground, wide open spaces to kick a ball, perfect pathways to ride a scooter, and even a BMX circuit, playground and jumping pillow at the southern end of the park. The Jumping Pillow
This kiddie favourite is located at the far southern end of the Parklands. The pillow is open from 8am and closed from 5pm 7 days a week. In wet weather it will be closed. Please remember to remove footwear before jumping.
The Rockpools is an exciting water playground for children of all ages to enjoy. The Rockpools has a coastal theme with a creek bed and a variety of pool areas that simulate coastal tides with the water filling up and emptying on timers and pop jets that squirt water throughout the play area.
The Rockpools will be closed for turf maintenance on Monday 20 May until Friday 24 May 2013.
December - March: 7am to 7pm (Rockpools are closed every Tuesday morning for maintenance from 7am - 9am)
April - November: 9am to 5pm (Rockpools are closed every Tuesday morning for maintenance from 9am - 12pm)
