Location
The Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens are open year round, from dawn to dusk each day. There is visitors parking on site, and entry is free. The Gardens are located off Ashmore Road, Benowa, opposite Benowa State High School. The south-west boundary of the Park extends down to the Nerang River, the Royal Pines Resort Golf Course runs all along the northern boundary, and Benowa Waters residential area is located to the south.
Guided walks
Would you, your school or community group like a guided walk in the Gardens? The Friends of the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens are available year round for free guided walks. Let the Friends amazing knowledge of the Gardens and its botanical collection make your visit educational and enjoyable.
Accessible toilets
Toilets are located at the top of the hill, at the Gardens entrance and opposite the playground.
Disability access
Our display garden and lake boardwalks are flat areas, suitable for disability access.
Visitors centre
Our visitors centre will be open soon! When finished, the centre will be a hub for visitors, community groups and botanical workshops.
Visitor etiquette
These beautiful Gardens are for everyone to enjoy. We invite and encourage you to smell the flowers, talk to the birds and tour the many wonderful garden areas. Please don’t collect plants or flowers, climb on trees, feed the birds or walk on garden beds. Please be aware there is no skateboarding, trail biking or camping allowed.
