TravelSmart is a Queensland Government funded voluntary behaviour change program that encourages individuals and organisations to use sustainable modes of transport. The Gold Coast City Council Active Travel program incorporates TravelSmart initiatives and findings and aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing private vehicle kilometres travelled and to increase the use of public transport, cycling and walking on the Gold Coast.
