Edible gardening workshops

There are a series oforganic ediblegardening workshops across the city.

Learn the basics of setting up a vegetable or herb patch and enjoy growing without the use of chemicals, using recycled, local and organic materials. All workshops are designed for the beginner gardener and will have you on your way to growing your own edible garden in no time.

Council's workshops will teach you how to:

• reduce household waste by composting and worm farming
• save water with techniques such as mulching and plant grouping
• create the conditions your plants need to thrive
